Tool Holder Taper Complete Measuring Units

The Steep Taper Measuring Unit includes 3 high resolution indicators, 1 standard indicator, and a wooden storage box. The unit verifies:
• Large taper diameter (d1)
• Small taper diameter (dk)
• Straightness of the taper (Ml)
• Relationship of the flange to the taper (a)
• Taper length (l1)

Note: A series 430.145 High Precision Gauge Master is required for setup of the Steep taper Measuring Unit.

The optional V-Flange Measuring Adapter includes two indicators. The adapter mounts to the Taper Measuring Unit and verifies the location and dimension accuracy of the V-Flange:
• V-Flange size (d5)
• Relationship to the taper (f1)

The optional Runout Test Adapter mounts to the Taper Measuring Unit includes a holder for a standard indicator (indicator not included). The adapter verifies runout between the ID bore of a tool holder and/or OD of a tool in the tool holder relative to the taper:
• OD Runout (A)
• Face Runout (B)
• ID Runout (C)
