Heat shrink tool holder technology is based on the physical properties of metal to expand and contract when heated and cooled. This concept is applied to produce the best tool holder interface available. Using an induction system, the tool holder clamping area is heated for a few seconds and a tool is inserted. Once the holder cools, the holder and tool essentially behave as one piece. Incredible concentricity and rigidity are achieved by the uniform force on the tool.
